How to Delete Your TrusMe Account
Important Information Before Deleting
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- All your personal data will be permanently erased
- Active subscriptions will be cancelled
- Ongoing therapy sessions will be terminated
- Chat history and records will be deleted
- You'll need to create a new account if you wish to use TrusMe again
Account Deletion Steps
- Open the TrusMe App
- Ensure you're using the latest version of the app
- Sign in to your account if not already logged in
- Access Settings
- Tap on the Profile icon at the bottom right
- Select "Settings" from the menu
- Navigate to Account Settings
- Scroll down to find "Account Settings"
- Tap on "Account Management"
- Initiate Deletion
- Select "Delete Account"
- Enter your account password for verification
- Select reason for deletion (optional)
- Confirm Deletion
- Read the deletion confirmation message
- Check the box acknowledging permanent deletion
- Tap "Delete My Account"
What Happens Next
- You'll receive a confirmation email
- Your account will be deactivated immediately
- All data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- Active subscriptions will be cancelled automatically
Cancellation Period
You have 7 days to reactivate your account by:
- Logging in with your credentials
- Following the reactivation prompt
- Confirming account restoration
Data Retention
As per our privacy policy:
- Required legal records are retained
- Anonymized usage data may be kept
- All personal information is deleted
